Why am I a graphic designer and photographer? What can you expect when we work together on a project?
A bit about me…
I was born in Granada (Spain) in 1990, and very early I started to develop a passion for photography, shooting friends and family with those disposable point-and-shoot Kodak film cameras (ah, the nostalgia…). However, I never thought about pursuing a career in photography or anything art related until I was 27 years old. Tired of the corporate world, I decided to go back to university to study Art in Denmark.
My BA was in art combined with technology, so having expertise in all Adobe software was quite essential to do video art, poster design, mixed media collage, digital illustration… After graduating, I knew I wanted to continue working in that direction as a freelance, and decided to specialize in Graphic Design as I believe it’s the most efficient way to combine art with practicality. And also, I realized how important Graphic Design is to help businesses create a successful brand that would be remembered forever.
…and what to expect when we work together
First and foremost, communication. I believe this to be the key to any successful design project. Once I receive a contact request, I am in touch within less than 24 hours suggesting a quick 30-minute meeting to get to know each other and the project better. After our meet-and-greet, I send a custom proposal detailing all the project requirements, next steps, deadlines, and budget breakdown. When the proposal gets approved, I send the service contract and off we go with an onboarding session to kick-start the project!
Weekly updates on the project is a must for me to guarantee transparency and let you be 100% involved in your project. Those updates can be done by email or, as I prefer, videocall but I am always flexible with your needs, my client. Once our project is finished and all deliverables sent, we will have the last meeting, a short offboarding session to give feedback on the whole process and, sadly, say goodbye. Or maybe see you next time!
